A crying earth

In 1990 Donald Forsberg was consigned by UNICEF to write a song about childrens view on their existance on our earth. "An earth for all of us" was performed for the very first time on the International childrens day at Skansen in Stockholm. The song was performed by around 50 children from various music schools in Stockholm and the surrounding area.

The years passed and the song was forgotten until Donald Forsberg one day happened upon the lyrics in a drawer. Lyrics that tragically are more appropriate today than when it was originally written.

In this reborn version the song has been renamed – Crying Earth. It is a somber title but we must use exclamations that will wake people up and especially so, our leaders.

Listen to the childrens message. Help them relay their musical plea further in the fight to one day be able to take over the reigns of a healthy planet and a pure atmosphere.
